| Recruit District Va Pa?

Posted By: marshall barkman Tonight i looked at a collection and one of the cards has me stumped. The man had a Recruit cigar box with two cigars and some tobacco in it and on the box it said District 25 Va but the card he had was a light tan bordered Steinfeldt that had No 42 District Pa, he said the card came out of the box. Is this a rare or common card? Also on the the back of the card was like a purple race horse and i could tell the ink was common to the time period of the Recruit card. Any info is greatly appreciated. |
