The scans I had of other Cobb's all had the gray fronts intead of this brown (if thats the color) Is that a cause for concern? I had always thought like some other issues they were colored by which league they were in? In any event...I think it would be a definate SGC 10...look at all that paperloss on the back and in a 2 with SCD (although yes, red). Still would like to have had it though... |

here's a lot and the colors do seem to vary.i think that the cobb is a decent 2. but i'd bet it would grde fair at best with scg.http://cgi.ebay.com/1922-V61-NEILSONS-CHOCOLATE-TYPE-II-RUTH-COBB-HORNSBY_W0QQitemZ8753037387QQihZ019QQcategoryZ3171 9QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247 QQcmdZViewItem |

That brownish color is from the gloss turning yellow. That card is a V61-2 and is 100% authentic and the color is very common to be yellowed like that. |

Dave, that card is legit -- and if it's a legit 2 went for a good price. |

Dave, I just noticed that the card was in an SCD holder and, more importantly, I noticed that significant tear(?) in the card. The card presents well considering the gouge but I'd have to agree with you. PSA 2 (maybe), SGC 10-20. |

No -- I have one of those already. I'm still trying to figure out why the seller had a private auction. I'm sure that kept the price down. |
