The Trader Speaks..... May 1977

Hi Everybody

I was reading a copy of the TTS from May 1977. Dan Dischley asked in his collecting news column. Has anyone seen a T216 Honus Wagner card? He said he asked a number of advanced hobbyists and none had seen the card.
He also notes that since the card is listed in the Sports Collectors Bible someone must have had or seen one at one time.
He finishes by asking anyone who has the card or knows of someone who does to please contact him.

Can anyone add some info on this card?

The T216 has 3 sets with different backs Kotton, Mino and Virginia Extra. All sets have 4 Wagner variations.

Wagner Batting S.S.
Wagner Batting 2b.
Wagner Throwing S.S.
Wagner Throwing 2b.

Based off of sales the Virginia set is the rarest.

and I believe there are three variations of the Kotton back, making five backs for each pose.
