I remember going to a store in Detroit Michigan the sport's hobbiest early 70's to a show with about 15 tables in a small area. |

Yes, I went to the shows in Troy and set up a table at all of the Plymouth shows run by the Toerpes, husband and wife, the show then moved to the Hyatt in Dearborn for a few years, then just ran out. They sold the show to Jim Hawkins, sportswriter for Detroit paper. Mastro, Nagy, Henderson, Lipset, Josh Evans, and many other oldtimers set up at these shows. Later even our friend al rosen. |

Those early Detroit shows were amazing. I was arrange business trips to Michagan around a few of them. I wich that I had made more. |
