I'm looking at this eBay auction for a Joe Jackson W514 card in SGC 88. Looks like a great card and I'm just wondering if you guys had more info on how the grading works for these. I mean, it looks like there was an auction for an uncut strip with a Jackson card (among others including Ruth) last year that ended around $6000 for 10 five card strips. Would somebody be able to cut these strips today and submit the individual cards for grading? |

They can and do. Sadly, complete strips and sheets are going to be almost nonexistant because slabbers will give a number grade to strip cards that have been cut from strip. Personally, I think that they should not get anything more than an AUTH grade. Only complete strips should be getting number grades, but sadly, they don't them. |
