I have been wondering if the following card looked real. I debated for a while before bidding and decided not to since the back looked weird/trimmed and I am not real familar with the N28 issue. |

You made the right decision in holding off. The card is a fake. First off, the seller's disclaimer is a big fat red flag. Also, the card stock/color is off. This one looks cream colored and faded, while authentic N28s are a more vibrant white colored background. |

Card is heavily trimmed all the way around. Looks authentic to me, but card stock looks too thin in photo. Most reprint have backs printed in black. |

I'm not sure if they where fake Ben, the backs didn't look bad. I have an N28 that is real and has similar toning. |

might be original but i agree with frank, the scan of the back looks like its trimmed. i think the first scan is just a bad one although i've seen many reprints that looked that color. i'd stay away. keith
