Problem with the board, or just my pc?

Anyone else notice that new posts in existing topics dont cause the topic to show up in a different color anymore? Not really a "problem" I guess; (all you have to do is look at the time posted to see if you have read the most recent topic) but I just wondered if it was just my computer or how the board was now working...

not exactly sure what you mean...but the different colors are links and visited links.

Got to be a system thing since it's happening to me too. It's hard to believe all of our "visited link" codings changed. I'm been trying to determine new messages by using the date info. Leon - "help!!!!!!!"

I noticed this too and it is really annoying. It makes it difficult to figure out the last post you read when you come back later.

Well leon its a lovely shade of purple, but threads with new posts are still showing up the same color.

I donno if I am explaining this right - can someone with a little more computer experience spell it out a little better?

I know the problem and am looking at fixing it. Unfortunately I need to go do some real work....this will have to do for a while. I understand the threads aren't turning the color they need to when they pop back to the top....hang in there...we'll get it....regards

normally after reading a post, the post heading changes from blue to brown (to inform the user they've read it). the post will stay "browned" out until theres something new added. at that time it becomes "blue" again alerting the user to new info added.

it hasn't been working for me either.

They used to turn brown (or purple, if you will) when nothing new had been added...now they STAY brown (or purple), even when something new had been added. But then, I have software that gets tired...i don't think that's suppoased to happen, either.

It's working for me too....I didn't do anything except fiddle with it yesterday. I think it could be a Net54 issue....but sort of like the purple anyway....hopefully it will stay fixed. It's not like Brian or I try to mess it up.....sh** just happens ...
