Looks like the high bidder is a legit card buyer. The only other bidder over $40 is someone who has not bid on much of anything lately, and no cards. This person has made 20 bids and run it up to $1027. Is this a shill situation? Is the underbidder bumping it incrementally to try to find the max bid? |

You would have to figure that the underbidder on this card would have a difficult time explaining a bid retraction after pushing it so far up. At this point if the underbidder pushed past the high bidder and made a retraction I would think that they would get NARUd for the effort and the high bidder could back out of the auction. |

I agree with Jamie. Seplotnick is one of the major buyers of Jewish sports memorabilia, particularly vintage material. |

SE Plotnick is clearly a serious collector-- apparently serious enough to drop $1000 on one Zeenut. But the underbidder is a little scary. Worth reporting to ebay as possible shilling? |

It throws up red flags when a bidder bids in increments at even dollar amounts. I don't know about everybody but I always bid amounts such as 106.33 or 1222.34 or something like that, never $100.00, $175.00, $275.00, etc. |

Maybe I should clarify-- I was never really questioning the integrity of the seller or the high bidder, just the underbidder. But it seems to be a simple case of "Jewish player collectors gone wild," I guess. |
