Todd (nolemmings)with this issue, having any border on either side should be sufficient. I can't tell if that little white area in the upper left corner represents a ding, scuff or tiny paper pull, or is nothing other than the way the photo displays.
My guess, although I can't see it in the scan, is that there's a very light surface wrinkle or scuff, front or back, that may have escaped your observation. This may be hard to see even now without busting open the slab.
My gut feeling is that you won't get higher than a six on re-regrade, unless that upper corner is an optical illusion. My concern would be that, since this issue is so fragile, subjecting it to another grading runs the risk of a ding in un-slabbing or re-slabbing.
The good news is that you should have no problem ever disposing of that card for decent money, and that you don't have to worry about many or maybe any 7s coming along that kill your card's value. No one collects this set in 7, I'd reckon, especially as neither PSA nor SGC has bestowed such a grade or higher on any card from the set.
In sum, it's a dog card, but I'll give you 50 bucks for it
