My junk collector friend brought this over to me to look at yesterday. He got it at a nearby antique mall and wanted me to date it. Certainly looks early 20th century to me and told him so, but theres no stamp on it. Its ATC (so after the merger), H Ellis and Co, Baltimore. Thought maybe one of the experts would wanna take a stab at it. Its a big slide box, held 500 cigars (plus I thought it was a decent item to show). |
