When Mike Wheat first displayed these reproductions at Ft. Washington, they looked exactly like the original because they are the same size, same color and gloss, and close to being the same weight of paper stock. The only identifying mark distinguishing them as a reprint appears in the two bottom corners. Inside the normal border is a fleuron-like device (a circle with five cigar-shaped leaves extending from it). Obviously, this does not appear on the original card. There is no statement that these are reprints. |

Thank, Greg, for pointing out this information on reprints. I understand that these are very good, but I doubt they would get by advanced collectors. |

So do you think a guy with a baseball card collection worth $1,449.78 would be able to identify these as reprints? |

I wish they had either clearly labeled these T3's as "reprints" or not made them at all, but Larry Fritsch & Co. were way ahead of Mike Wheat in this area. Their D304's, in particular, have burned many people. Caveat emptor and complain loudly. |

only Wheat's Speaker is slightly inferior in color. The condition of all is of course slightly better. I'm bidding on the "Chief Meyers." |

It would be interesting if to you the card was easily distinguishable from the other T3's you have had, while one of these reprints could sit around in someone else's collection unidentified. |

I will compare the two closely and fill in the board on the results. |
