I believe in free speech..

However.. This is not and should not be a venue for personal attacks and off-color comments. If I wanted to see people throw sand at one another and do a he/said she said game, I would go to my teenagers chatroom on aol, and listen to people saying "as-if" and I told you so. I'd really like to see us return to talking about vintage cards which is why i think 99% of the people come to this board.

The one or two people (forgive me if I'm leaving anyone out) that are using this as a venue for slander could just as well send email to each other and call them names behind closed doors.

Could we start leaving our comments to talking about vintage cards and remove the BS from the picture.

Sorry, but there was a time when I eagerly enjoyed reading this board everyday and now I loathe having to sift through the tedious lobs and lies.

Just my two cents, and I'm sorry to be off topic, but could we start erasing unrelated posts or refrain from the bogus personal attacks ?

Are people finding out now that they may have been mislead and taken advantage of by other board members and if so,Shouldn't his be gotten out in the open and ended once and for all? It seems that since I"ve been coming here that this cools off for a day or two and then comes back even worse than before. Maybe, just maybe ,this is beginning to get to the real issues between these guys and very soon(Please Lord) there will be no more little surprises every other day and hopefully whomever is truly at fault will be Blocked from this forum.

..PERTANENT, valid info on restoration, right from the Triple Crown Winning Horse's Mouth...Yes Julie. The emails I've repeated verbatem, ALL ON THE SUBJECT OF RESTORED CARDS, not on prostitutes, drug deals, deep voices, and Benzs', sent to me over a 2.5 year period by Brain Daniels, when read, will reveal what might have already been guessed, and what a priviledged few higher ups, collectors, investors, and graders, already know. I wish to discuss the contents of the emails..the names mentioned, companies, dates, items, procedures, mindset, rationale, etc. and BCD wants to discuss "lifestyle". Go figure! Figures that so unorthodox an individual would have an unorthodox defense.

..of silence..... Brian is currently unavailable and cannot post on the Board at this time. He's busy, creating and rounding up emails on the subject of prostitutes, hookers, medical credentials, drug deals, AMG Benzs', deep voices, and unmentionables to address the Board in conjunction with my card restoration related BCD chronicle emails. The source of inspiration for the creation of such being my statement to Jay, Brueso, or Scott (I forget which right now..unimportant), "Whenever I feel 'sad' about what a terrible life I have, I take a ride in one of my Benzs' to the gym, push 550lbs off my chest as if it were a sack of potatoes, or throw on a tank top, run into a nightclub or Strip-joint and leave with the woman of my choice". Which none of these "pastimes" should have ANY bearing whatsoever on the content of BCD's 2.5 year flow of emails.

Personally these attacks on the board are a big negative for me. My solution is to ignore any posts by these people and not purchase anything now or in the future. There is enough sellers out there I don't need them.

...on posting the subject of a MAJOR, ongoing, hobby SCAM courteosy of the BCD emails I've received over the past 2.5 years. Not just one scam, or even 50 items, but HUNDREDS, if not far more, of scams, improprieties, etc. ALL HAVING TO DO WITH BASEBALL CARDS. I'm trying to stay focused on the content of the emails. Something that BCD does NOT wish to discuss. BCD only wants to trade insults and personal slander, goading me into a shouting match over NON-BASEBALL CARD ISSUES. I won't be distracted by that ploy. I want to discuss the restored items (he altered) that he pushed through Doug Allen (without Doug knowing what Brian was sending him) to be graded by PSA, not the amount of hours he imagines I spend with my family, or how deep my voice is. I can't say that I blame him, his knowing the barrage of ammo he provided me with in his emails of the past 2.5 years. Can you imagine someone submitting SIXTY cards through SCD...AS A TEST??? 60!!!! That's a test?? 49 of the 60 cards being GRADED!! That's not a TEST..that's INVENTORY! 6 (six) would have been a test. 10 cards at the most, would have been a test.

Doktor, how does it feel to get the same exact responses that you keep giving people every time they ask you simple questions? You have no grounds for bitching about the way anyone responds to your questions until such time that you learn to you yourself learn to answer straight forward questions put to you without a bunch of off topic rhetoric.

At this point, you need to take this to email with anyone that cares/wants to know more about this. Personally, I could care less because you have zero credibility with me, so any accusation you make against anyone means nothing to me. Until someone that more reputable steps forward, as Dan said, you sound like a little child trying to pass the buck and blame someone else

You've made your claim, no take it to email for those that really care.

1) If allowed, where do the card-related board fights go? My vote would be a single thread for each fight and if it expands to another thread, the violaters get temporary banishment (a week maybe).
2) What happens to posters who post bigotry and obscenity? Set up a rule and abide by it. My vote: one month banishment. (see, I'm quite Liberal)
3) What about personal attacks? What's allowed, who decides, and what gets done? I would vote for email warnings from the board moderator.

Another thought - there is a part of Western Ireland where no one ever goes to jail (except maybe for major crimes). Each town has a "town book" - if you violate a law, your name and the associated offense goes in the book. No one wants to be in "the book". We could have a thread containing the names/offenses of board members - I bet it would stay empty simply by Elliot sending a warning email occasionally.

One month without all the "your mother..." this and "I can bench press my benz..." that...

would seem like a tropical vacation. All the rhetoric and name-calling and insults in response to simple questions amazes me...and, the questions go unanswered, which is most laughable of all.

Most people can discuss, argue, debate with each other and still maintain basic respect and integrity (and honesty) without all the garbage. A very distinct minority cannot. A respite from that mindless and vile banter would be welcome, even if only for a month at a time... Especially if more and more youths access this site. Then, the presence of any rude comments is not only inacceptable, it is damaging to this site and the rest of us here who can maintain tact and respect for each other.
