Default Not bragging. Just SENILE!

You know you've been collecting a long time when you forget about having a card.

I have an even sillier one. I was going through my old pick up threads on here looking for a picture. I found threads I started about getting cards I don't remember owning.

Nice . And then there's the variation of people buying the card that they recently sold.

Now, to further support the senility. The first two attached here I found with the Lombardi as well as other cards including 1939 and 1940 Play Ball Hall of Famers. The Diamond Star Ostermueller took me two days to find. It was part of a stack in which it was in the last four cards at the base. Amazed that somehow, some way I didn't check the stack. Ah, age! Did I just type something?

I bought a signed 1989 Hoops card of Michael Jordan years ago in a Heritage auction. Back then I was having my cards shipped to my parents house because I was worried about shipping to my apartment in NYC. So for maybe 3 or 4 years I just forgot I'd bought this card.

Then the run up on Jordan during the pandemic happened and I remembered I bought the Jordan card. But when I went looking for it, I couldn't find it anywhere and I realized I didn't have a memory of ever seeing it.

When I called my parents they found an old Heritage package still sealed under a pile of other stuff in their kitchen.

And while I was tearing apart my bins and safe at my house looking for the Jordan, I came upon this Ohtani that I also forgot I bought after he had Tommy John:
