Roger Maris Premium? Questions
Hi-
I purchased this Maris photo at Brimfield several weeks ago. It is blank backed and measures 8X10. Does anyone know who issued it or what year it is from? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Alan

I believe that and a similar Mantle were premiums from a 1960s Alvern Batting Game. The third photo is the basis for saying they're from Alvern. It's a photo a friend picked up from Kelly Eisenhauer. Although, I'm not sure who put the Alvern notation on the photo. I also have the same Mantle photo with slightly different cropping without the facsimile autograph as a Type I Requena photo, so I suppose they are both based on Requena photos.
