Maybe he's charging the most for the Dooin card because of that beautiful slabbing job by PSA.

1. Bought 2/11/20 for $371 now asking $44K
2. Bought 1/13/19 for $609 now asking $32.5K
3. Bought 7/11/19 for $2449.88 now asking $26K
4. Bought 12/7/19 for $1800 now asking $27.5K

I would love to get those type of returns...

That seller has had high prices for years. I don't know if he still does it but he used to spam the PSA registry members trying to buy their cards. At one time I used to get 3 or 4 emails every day and I have a very small collection. Now I have him blocked on all my ebay searches.

He was posting on net54 not long ago. Guy seems to use some sort of algorithm to price his cards and lowers the prices over time. Doesn't seem to consider comps. I have purchased '75 minis from him in the past when his prices came down to somewhere approaching the market.

Think with this price disparity it is going to take decades for it to get to down to
reality

When I see a card seller with 65k feedback and the "you've bought from this seller before" is missing. Its usually a good chance that seller has insane pricing. No different here, possibly the most insane pricing I've seen on ebay, on par with toppsaholic.

I seem to recall that this seller also sells cards for a higher price that are offered for sale by other sellers and if he gets a sale he gets the card or arranges for the delivery. Sort of a consignment arrangement I guess.

I *think* they're called "drop shippers" by some people. I've had it happen to some of the items I've sold on eBay.

I generally don't mind. If their buyer flakes out, though, it could potentially lead to problems. Anybody want to guess how a drop shipper reacts when they want a refund and you tell them to actually return the item?
