Ok, given the Rose post I just replied to - I'll start.

Technically a last-day-of-May pickup, is this guy. I could have kicked myself for selling at least two graded copies of this card in the past - the last before the Covid boom in a decent grade which today would go for well more than 2x what I sold it for - but alas, all's well I guess that ends well. The 1963 Topps set is my favorite of the decade and a runner-up on my list of all-time sets, so at some point in continuing to deem myself a "set collector" - this had to happen. Please convince me never to get rid of this card...

I just replied to your reply on the Rose card thread and I was thinking, wish he posted a pic. Then I saw this thread...great card! And hey...don't sell it!

Again, looking for new ways to collect. See if I can get a PSA auto of each Killebrew Topps card...started with one of my favorites, 1969 Topps.

Was glad to scoop this up on the 'Bay. Tough Dormand PC (with postal cancellation) that I believe has been addressed in his hand.

And congratulations on the several nice cards above, fellas.

Had a good old time at a show today and brought home a trio of pricey SGC-graded sixties' superstars: (If I was a seller, I would say a severely undergraded and very well centered) 1961 Topps #578 Mickey Mantle All Star, a beautiful 1963 Topps #300 Willie Mays, and quite a delicious 1965 Topps #300 Sandy Koufax.

Anyone want to play a game? No one ever discloses what things cost when they post their epic pick-ups (surely, I'm not the only one who thinks about that stuff, right??), so let's change that a bit for the heck of it. Have a little fun and take a guess at what these three cards ended up costing me (as a group) at the show. The winner gets nothing but bragging rights. Sorry. ![]() 06_25PickupsSGC1961mantleAS1963mays1965koufaxSM.jpg

![]() ![]() I also picked up these two stars from the 1957 Topps set in a different auction early this month: ![]() ![]() These two autographs were included in the lot with the above two cards: ![]() Since I don't collect autographs, I'll probably put the two autographs up for sale.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Prior to the auction I didn't even know the Baseball Magic Rub-Offs existed since they weren't included in the packs distributed by O-Pee-Chee in Canada. But they're now among my most treasured Baseball collectibles! They'll nicely compliment the set of 1961 Topps CFL Magic Rub-Offs that I've had for nearly 35 years: ![]() ![]() ![]()
