Default Is this my first blank back prewar card from an issue normally full of non-blankness?

I picked up this T205 of McBride. In my opinion, it appears to have a legit blank back. The thickness seems to be the same as any of my other T205 cards, and the back is smooth to the touch, even (for the most part) in the areas that are stained.

Also it appears to be hand cut. I am not sure that this is typical for blank back cards or not.

So any opinions from experts, non-experts, and those among us that are blank-curious?

Great card Brian. Looks like a legit "Scrap" card. Very cool.

Thanks for sharing!

If it's the same thickness as a regular card then it's a blank back. I feel like the several I have seen are handcut. As we all know, there are a lot of various one-offs in our cards. My only blank back T205...

Thanks Mike, Albert and Leon for helping me fill in the blanks on this card's blankness-sissity. Some day when I come across my pair of calipers I will hopefully confirm that it has the same thickness as a normal T205, something that I was relying on visual inspection and the feeling of it between my fingers.

One definite advantage of the card being raw is that it doesn't have that plasticky feel that is commonly encountered in cards that have been graded.

Looks good to me as well.
Most of the T205 blank backs I’ve seen seem hand-cut. Possibly rejected/scrap sheets taken home by printer employees and cut up later by hand.
