Default Babe Ruth 3 Bats Postcard AZO

Just wondering on the scarcity of the postcard and if anyone has seen one recently or has any information? I’ve been unable to find any. Also, I have not been able to find any sold. I’ve had it for about 25 years.

I did find an old thread on this forum here from 2006 with some information but without photos.

From this link about postcard identification http://www.playle.com/realphoto/ it looks like it’s from 1910-1930 era by the 2up 2down triangle stamp box.

This is a fantasy piece. The front is modern and was glued onto an old RPPC back. I have one too.

If you have a real RPPC and a loupe you might compare the front of the Ruth to it under magnification. I suspect you can confirm that there are differences.

I have a loupe but do not have a real RPPC. I'll have to check out eBay for one. Thanks

As fantasy pieces go, not a bad looking one. But it was most likely made to defraud....

This is a real photo postcard...

Just saw this one..

Reminded me of this thread. But I think it's genuine. The image seems to be all one piece and no trickery. Seemingly really special item. There's some part of me that's always suspicious of razor sharp corners on 100 year old raw items though. What are you alls thoughts.
