Default Happy Birthday Wahoo Sam!

As we come up on the 145th Anniversary of the birth of Hall Of Famer Sam Crawford into the world, ( APRIL 18th, 1880 ) wanted to see if members have any Crawford Cards to share in this post!

And as an early “flare” I will be going to the National this year, so if anyone has a something a little more obscure on the Crawford front that they may have for sale….I would be interested in meeting up with you in Chicago too!
My list of items is to fill needs in the Crawford collection slowly is getting shorter and more expensive – and frankly some are just not going to be in my budget.

Look forward to see your favorites of Wahoo Sam!

Here is one of mine...rough around the edges but a very rare Crawford Card

I don't know if it's my favorite Wahoo, but it's my only one currently.

Here is an 'E95' blank back of the Crawdaddy, which I believe was cut from a notebook cover that replicated the artwork of some players as seen in the E95 and E96 set.

Here's a duplicate of what's already been shown. But still gotta post/comment on it, as it just arrived from LOTG.

I truly believe it's one of the most beautiful cards ever made. Even Toucan Sam would be jealous of that magnificent Raspberry/Orange/Lemon/Lime sky.

Just an incredible image whose colors have held up admirably for 115 years!

Beautiful downtown Wahoo, Nebraska in 1909

And a few more baseball cards of Wahoo Sam . .

Bonus round: BoSox outfielder Duffy Lewis, Crawford's contemporary, was also born on April 18th.

Congrats on the card. It is one super looking card. I think Rebel Oaks gives it a run for its money.
