Default Ruth and gehrig autographed postcard

If you click on the link and it brings you to the eBay listing, and if you go to 'SELLERS OTHER ITEMS', there's one of Ruth alone listed at $4500 which to me looks a little too identical to the Ruth signature on the postcard with Gehrig; hard to imagine that when one signs their name, that it is an exact flawless copy of their signature on a different item. Moreso, one who has diligently practiced someone's signature is more likely to reproduce it exactly.
Also, I'm far from being an expert but the Gehrig looked like a try at a perfect autograph.

Default Gpc

A certain seller or sellers has been offering fake government postcards for years. I was sent a group of them over ten years ago and was asked my opinion, so I got to see them firsthand. They ALL had a few things in common. The GPC's were pristine with sharp corners. None were inscribed. The signatures were very cleverly done. Ink was always too bold. None were postmarked as having been sent through the mail. Most important of all they were ALL blue-chip signatures never a single common or marginally valued name in the group. Since then, I've seen them turn up here and there occasionally so there are likely still plenty of them out there.
