Default Missed Connections: Whoever bought the Tip Top Phillippe from Stan at Strongsville!!

I was about to purchase from him this same weekend. If you are at all amenable to potentially letting me buy it from you, I'd of course pay well; throw in a sweetener like a type 1 or a poster or a Deadball era magazine.

Its for an academic essay I'm writing on early Industrial America! the Phillippe in particular is a crucial connecting point for me as a historian.

Thank you kindly if you see this!

My best regards,
David

Out of curiosity, do you have a sentence or two you could share on this?

i'll share a substack link when its done if you're interested! i'm a media and cultural theorist + historian with current emphasis on american industrialization; the movement from regional + localization of industry to globalization + its stakes and trajectories. early regional sets like tip top speak to this very clearly in my opinion! its a different vision of communality + the stakes of a city's unity in manufacturing and sport

If you were about to purchase it, why didn't you? Sounds like you had first shot at it and passed on the opportunity!
