Default REA Catalogue Has Arrived!

I haven't had the chance to go through it all, but the 19th century stuff, as well as the early vintage lots are off the charts. Fantastic auction.

When will the online auction go live? Date says today, but not live yet.

If you go to the website it says it goes live in less than 48 mins.

Man, some amazing stuff -- including BLACK SWAMP! The N28 Jack Glasscock SGC 4 is super clean.

I've never seen this before -- so this predated the Bond Bread portrait??

I don’t think so. There may be a few in there but I don’t recognize most/any. My set was entirely in new SGC flips, so anything not in that flip could not be from my set.

When a T206 Plank is lot #482, you might have a stacked auction.

Two of these have auctioned in the last month including this exact one it's a larger Canadian newspaper issue insert blank bank. These were issued in 1946 Jackie's at least and other players ran from 1943-1947.

Not to mention a Gehrig rookie as lot 751. Impressive auction.

Agree with Jeff! The best REA auction in years. Now we'll see if the stock market affects prices. I'm scratching my head on some of the grades on the cards in the SF Hess lot. Here's one I can't understand.

Finally got to finish the catalog after dinner and was surprised to find the Paul Skenes Flagship Platinum 1/1 RC near the back. I know ultra modern is not the most popular era on this side of the board, but the Debut RPA got a ton of talk going in the hobby and this is easily a top 5 card of importance for those that collect him. It’s a card I could see Goldin doing a one off premier auction for and in REA there are 2200+ lots ahead of it. I’ve always had the belief that key cards will do well in any mainstream auction house because the real wallets in the hobby don’t miss much, but I’m curious if going with a predominantly pre-war auction house is going to cost it some eyes without the house giving it the Don West treatment to every media outlet that cares to listen like some others do.

Anybody else see Lot 665 and find it strange REA posted the pic with the 1915 flip? (Yes I have sent message to REA)
First pic is on REA site current auction
Second pic is PSA cert verification
Maybe they resubmitted for correct label but wouldn’t they have the correct pic to scan?

Wonder why they didn't use the same 1915 holder for the 1914 instead of the new one with all that space.

Exactly! With the fees PSA charges and the turnaround time you would expect and hope they could get the slab size correct for the card.

Got the catalogue today. No matter how many times I look over the auction on the website, when I get the catalogue, I always see something I missed.

As for the website, I suggest these improvements:
1) The ability to jump to a lot
2) The ability to see more than 100 lots per page
3) The ability to jump to a page
4) When looking at Bid History, the ability to see which bid(s) were yours
5) My Total Winning Bids should be quicker to represent the up-to-date total. For example, after I became high bidder on two lots, one lot was immediately added to my total, but it took ten minutes for the other lot to be added (and I was not outbid on either lot in the meantime). This doesn't matter much now, but an up-to-date total would be useful to know on closing night.

On the plus side, I like the display better, especially for the pages showing your bids and watched items.

Has anyone received an outbid notice even if you're still the highest bidder?

How does one go about signing up to get the catalog shipped to them? I'd be interested in getting it.
