Default 1963 Fleer release date

Does anyone have a more precise timeframe or release date for 1963 Fleer Baseball beyond just Opening Day-ish?

Thanks,
Jason

I was eight years old in 1963, and I recall the Fleer cards preceded the Topps set’s arrival by about a week, which would place their arrival at about March 15. Eight year old me thought they WERE the new Topps set. I had no idea the cards weren’t the “real” ones until the Topps cards showed up. I didn’t even find it suspicious that the Fleer cards came with cookies rather than bubble gum. Eight year olds, am I right?

Upon further thought, the Fleer cards might have come out a few days earlier. March 12-15 is a safe range. What I do know is that once the Topps cards appeared, around March 20-22, the Fleer cards disappeared, although I imagine a few random candy stores might have displayed both sets for a time.
