Default Anyone set up in Rosemont this weekend?

Just wondering if any Net54 members have tables for this weekend’s show — if so, hope you rake in the $$$!

I guess we can get some instant feedback on whether the recent market correction has triggered a reduction in animal spirits among cardboard collectors!

But I’ll second the notion that I wish the best of luck to all the dealers setting up at the show.

Just an update following this weekend's big show in Rosemont, IL (https://chicagosportsspectacular.com/). It was well attended -- maybe not as big as recent shows there because the autograph guest list wasn't all that great.

A solid amount of vintage -- all the Topps you could ever ask for, loads of T206. But man, does it really show how rare some of the things we're interested in truly are. I saw 1 Old Judge card all weekend; one OJ pack for $700. Maybe 20 Cracker Jacks. Much of the stuff that pops up here weekly, nowhere to be found.

Concur about shows. Sure, you can find the common stuff. But the really really good/rare stuff? Most go straight to the auction houses.
