Default Mastro Auctions Question - Milprint 1953 Stahl Meyer

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 1953 Stahl Meyer Rizzuto at auction (see pic in post) that is clearly hand cut and has no wax coating. A little bit of research led me to find an April 2006 auction from Mastro Auctionswhere a complete set of sheet cut Stahl Meyer's was on auction. They were listed as a Milprint "find." Milprint was a printing house that made cards for a lot of the regional releases in hot dog brands.

I'm looking to have this graded by SGC with it's own designation for being cut from a proof sheet. The more background and provenance I can give them, the better my case will be.

I have a photo of the physical catalog with some close-ups. My card is msot definitely from the auction (IMHO). I'm just looking for anyone who might be able to verify the Milprint story or help corroborate the provenance in any way.

Would anyone have a connection to anyone who worked for Mastro Auctions around 2006 or knows anything about the Milprint "find"?

Thank you in advance!
