Default Sealed Boxes - "Vintage Sports Cards" Company?

I've got a lead on a few 1990s sealed boxes which have decent value. Some the seller bought from a company called Vintage Sports Cards about 20 years ago. There's a sticker on the wrapping with a big "V" logo with a banner across the V. Wrapper still firm on the box and the perforations in the box are still intact.

Any wisdom as to if this company was legit with a good reputation? I can't seem to find them online so I assume they're not in business any longer. I've seen the same logo on some sealed boxes on Ebay.

Seller was a collector and everything was well kept, but as with all sealed stuff I want to proceed with caution.

Searched to find this company in existing threads with no luck. If there's already a thread, please point me there!

Does the sticker on this box look familiar?

I have no idea what this company was, but I do recall that in K-Marts and perhaps other stores in the mid-to-late '90s, you could find all sorts of these. They all bore that sticker and were overwrapped in some sort of cello.

I bought a few, including this one from a K-Mart in Maryland in 1997.

I know a bought some 1994 Topps baseball boxes in this manner and they still had the original Topps overwrap underneath the newer overwrap. I suspect these are all legitimate and unsearched, provided it still has the Vintage company's overwrap (which mine here does not).

If I remember correctly, they were a major re-packer at the time and were well regarded in the hobby
