Default Earliest father / son baseball card?

I'm getting ready to list this E121 Bill Southworth on ebay and was going to notate it as the earliest father and son depiction on the same baseball card. Then I thought it would be best to check with the experts before making that claim! Anyone aware of any earlier ones?

Love that card of Southworth!

I doubt anyone would necessarily think of it as a baseball card, but there’s a CDV of Sam and Harry Wright from 1863. Both played and were instrumental in the early history of baseball.

Oh wow, was not aware of that one. I think there's been some debate about whether CDVs should be counted as baseball cards (possibly in this very forum). Maybe I'll add the note "earliest father/son baseball card that can be found on ebay."

Not sure if it is his son, and definitely does not pre-date the Southworth card, which I have always liked as well), but the below 1936 R314 Goudey Wide Pens card of Ethan Allen always makes me smile, and Ethan Allen was a lifetime .300 hitter, so my recent scan will also be added to those two respective threads.

I have never had the opportunity to post the same scan in more than two threads, so taking advantage of this while the gettin' is good.

Hard to beat this one, albeit cricket related.

Not a card and not with their kids, but a cool RPPC that may be fitting for the thread. Happy Felsch, Ray Schalk, Lena Blackburne and Nemo Leibold with dolls that the Milwaukee Leader presented to all of them.

That one is definitely not a baseball card but rather a cricket card!
