Default Bert Campaneris-Oddball Items Wanted & Hello

Dear Baseball Card Community:

My name is Rick and I'm really happy to be here. I stumbled across your community searching for a 1965 J.D. McCarthy Postcard of my favorite player, Bert Campaneris. So, since I'm here I might as well introduce myself and see if there is anyone here that has any of the Campy items that I need to complete my collection. (I also wanted to say Hi!)

So, here is what I'm looking for: (All Bert Campaneris items)

1964 Topps (Rookie All Star Banquet) #21
1965 JD McCarthy Postcard #NNO
1966 Sports Service (A's) #NNO
1967 Topps (Discs) #NNO
1967 Dexter Press #2
1967 Sports Service (A's)
1969 Broder #NNO
1969 Oakland A's (Picture Pack) #NNO
1970 Mike Anderson Postcard #NNO
1970-71 Dayton Daily News (M137) #48

And, anything else Campy related that you think a big fan of his might enjoy.

Again, hello to everyone and my email address is coachrickfrank@gmail.com and let me know if you have anything or if you have any leads.

Thank you so much!!

Rick

I don’t think I have any of those, but I do have some others that you might be interested in. I’ll send an email.

I wonder if anyone owns the bat he flung at Lerrin LaGrow in the 1972 AL Playoffs. ETA a clip on YouTube has the announcer saying that Tiger player Ike Brown picked up the bat and broke it over his knee. Oh well. I had a 1970 Dayton Daily News Bert Campaneris years ago when I had a partial set 1-160 but I sold all of the non Cubs on eBay at a loss but otherwise I wouldn’t have most of the Cubs to this day.

Welcome Rick. I have the 64 Banquet and 67 Disc but they are part of sets. FYI he also appears in the Topps 1965 Rookie Banquet program ( 7th Annual), but it does not involve a card set

Well this post certainly got my attention. The Dynasty A's were my team, and still collect them. I particularly collect Campy and Rudi, but I'm afraid I don't have any of those Campy issues. Fun to see someone else collecting Campy. Best of luck with those pursuits.
