No longer having the Wagner and never collecting much of Ruth I am light, but I will add a few of mine. Had to use a Rogers Peet Catalog with Ruth on the cover(only one known).

Here's a few more from the E98 set, always thought the set would be better with a Johnson card. - |

Great thread. Here's a grouping of some of my favorites: (dont have a Wagner anything, so I subbed Cy Young, who should've been in in 1936 in the first place)

My little group of the First Five seems quite modest if compared to what you guys have posted... Neat thread idea, and GREAT cards!

Little curveball, but here is a photo of 5 of the first 6 predominantly Negro Leaguers who were inducted into the HOF. They played together on the 1934 Pittsburgh Crawfords. Buck Leonard who played for the Homestead Grays was in the first 5, but Charleston was better, so I am giving him the extra credit. This photo was taken in Yankee stadium by a famous photographer from Harlem James VanDerZee.

This is the single most aesthetically pleasing group of cards I’ve ever seen. Just add a CJ Joe Jackson as honorable mention.

George, I'm lovin' your spectacular group of Orange Borders cards. If you are looking for a Big Train card that would fit in nicely with your Orange Borders cards, I suggest WaJo's 1911 Baseball Bats card:
