I watched the game and the shots of his family were great to see especially as the game went on. Amazing that he was allowed to complete the game with 124 pitches the way the game is played now. Thomson did say that if he walked the last batter with 2 outs in the ninth he probably would have had to make a pitching change but also said he would have needed a bulletproof vest when he went out to the mound.
