New York Journal American
Looking at the last SCD during Bob Lemke's great work I noticed that the New York Journal American card of Hoyt Wilhelm is listed waaaay higher than other cards in the set with the exception of Mantle. Can anybody shed any light on why this is or could it simply be a typo?

Short print?
Not sure but Lemke usually had a reason for what he did... Maybe another member will know? .

Thanks Leon. I checked BB reference and it is not like he was only a Giant for a short time in 1954 or 1955. And you are right Bob was thorough for certain.

Like any printed work that size, the big book had occasional problems.
I had a pleasant surprise when I looked up an E90-1 Summers, less so when I found out the price was probably a typo.

When I was putting that set together I had no problem with Wilhelm, but it took me years to find Marv Grissom.
