1911 Merchant World Series Scorecard***SOLD***
Tailoring Company scorecard. There are few other variations of this for 1911 and I have seen other years as well. This example has Ed Walsh as the large picture and I have had the 1911 Honus Wagner one a few times in the past but never the Walsh version. Great commentary on the front of Walsh's use of the spit ball.
Features headshots of the Philadelphia A's (including Mack, Plank, Collins, Baker, etc) and the New York Giants (McGraw, Mathewson, Marquard, etc.) Also headshots along the spine of Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, Ed Walsh and Walter Johnson. Likely put out shortly after the 1911 World Series. Includes statistics of annual pennant winnters, world seris champions, leading batters, etc. through the 1911 season. Very nice condition with no major issues. There are a couple of spots of staining/wear on the statistics section as shown in pictures. Scorecard folded in half as intended but then at one time was folded in half again leaving a very light crease that is barely noticeable. Spine completely intact. Price ***SOLD***
