Default DETROIT TIGERS 1961 Type 1 8x10 - COLAVITO, CASH & 6 OTHERS HIT HRS - ENDS 1/11

Here's a very rare Type 1 8x10 photo of eight Detroit Tigers who hit homers against the Twins in a doubleheader on June 4, 1961. This gem was taken in the Tigers clubhouse after the second game and features (back) Mike Roarke, Norm Cash, Bill Bruton and Dick Brown. Up from is Chico Fernandez, Jake Wood, Rocky Colavito and Bubba Morton. Interesting fact - It was the first career HR for backup catcher Roarke, who was a 30-year-old rookie for the Bengals.

Though faint on the back side, the stamp shows that this sweet photo was taken by noted Detroit News photographer Scotty Kilpatrick.

Opening bid of $25 with $1 increments via paypal f&f. Ends at 7 pm ET on Wednesday, Jan.11. PM with any question.
