Just bought an hour ago at antique store for 70 dollars. Is this Rube Ellis. Any help would be appreciated

Highly unlikely that it would be Rube Ellis' bat. Assuming there is only one Rube Ellis, the entirety of his MLB career was played well before the labeling period of this bat and was over with one final game in the PCL in 1925.
The bat you posted dates to the 1923-25 era, but is most likely from a minor league player from that time as there are many with the last name Ellis.

Can not be Rube Ellis. Bat dates to the 20's. A neat find however!

It's not impossible that Rube ordered a custom made bat in circa 1923 when he was playing semi-pro ball somewhere or in 1925 when he was coaching Vernon in the PCL, but that's too thin a reed on which to hand an identificaiton.
Nice bat for $70! glad you rescued it from antique store oblivion.
