Some more versions of irregular cut southern leaguer “scraps” (brown old mills). We should get these SL together for a freak show. And one other brown old mill freak

Here is a fun one...a Sweet Caporal 350/460 factory 42 Magee that is missing the factory 42 and scroll overprint. For a while, until I showed it on here and was informed about the printing error, I thought I had an unicorn card that shouldn't exist (Sweet Caporal 350/460 factory 30). Brian |

Herman A. "Germany" Schaefer. Infielder for the Washington Senators in 1909-1914. 972 hits, 9 home runs, and 201 stolen bases in 15 MLB seasons. His "steal" of first base prompted rule making it illegal. Popular as a baseball "trickster" and "on-field clown", often in tandem with Charley O'Leary and, later, with Nick Altrock. Altrock eventually perfected the art with Al Schacht. https://www.net54baseball.com/attach...1&d=1646312343 |

Just acquired this example (Thanks Luke!)...I think this card is underrated. A rather special and unique printing error/anomaly. Cool story (a nail/pin got stuck during the printing process).

I was going to ask if anyone has heard if the T206 Charley Carr Portrait had both a Red and Orange background variation. There's one on eBay right now listed as the "Orange" variation, and you can tell the difference between that and a Red one. But the orange could just be fading too. Looking at past sales, seems there are equal amounts of each variation. Any info or thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks!
