Or could his post be referring to the growth in the card business and sales on Ebay surpassing all of 2020's sales only halfway through 2021?

I fail to see how it's anything other than a matter of time before this backfires hugely. eBay in the 23 years I've been on the platform has never made a serious effort to collectively learn the first damn thing about the card hobby. As recently as this past December, their ads that were showing up in my Facebook feed were trying to hawk me $200k 1991 Fleer Jose Uribe cards. How they are even within shouting distance of being "experts" on anything related to cards or memorabilia is beyond me. Maybe they are bringing on outside, new people...
