Default FS: Your 1953 Topps Set is not Complete Without...

Offering these two 53 Topps display pieces (preferably) together. A great compliment and display piece to accompany your set. Both were obtained through reputable auction houses and are original. The poster is a rare piece, only a dozen or so are in collections and are rarely available. It measures about 7 x 11 without the frame which can be removed if desired. The frame crops the borders but the the entire piece is there, not trimmed or anything. The empty 5 cent box is very well preserved as well, with normal edge wear but nothing distracting. Unlike many box’s that only have the top or bottom, this box is complete, top and bottom.
The red colors just pop on these two pieces, will make a killer display.

I thought this would hit the right audience in the 50s section, but if it should be moved to memorabilia I understand.

Reduced to rock bottom price of $2950 via pp ff (or add 3% for g/s)

Very nice! I just love looking at baseball relics like this. Beautiful piece for someone that is doing the set. Good luck with the sell.

I don’t like commenting on selling posts if I am not purchasing or serious about purchasing, but I cannot help myself in this instance.

These are absolutely stunning pieces and whoever gets these will be very fortunate. If I had the funds I would be all over this.

Good luck with your sale! Simply amazing!

Thanks guys. Appreciate the compliments. The poster in particular is just awesome, and I think undervalued considering there only a dozen or so known. You can just picture these in the general store window to lure kids in for gum and cards!

Exactly. I would love to have these for my set, but they're just worth a little too much.

Someone will end up with an amazing almost one-of-a-kind '53 setup

One and only bump with a rock bottom price of $2950. It’s a really great display piece.
Would be willing to trade for T3s or M101-2 Supplements

Thought I would give this a bump with a few photos of the possibilities for displaying these beauties. I have 8 of the best cards from the set displayed in the man cave, along with the advertising poster and empty display box. I’m willing to sell the cards as well but will need to find a buyer for the poster/box first before I’ll consider moving them. If you’re interested in the whole package, feel free to reach out to discuss.

Price for poster and empty box is $2900. PP ff or add 3% for g/s

But I’m listening to offers on the whole package. The cards are lower grade but all have superior eye appeal for the grade, that’s important for me. Feel free to reach out for pics of specific cards. I don’t have others in the set, just these eight for display. If you’re into eye-catching displays, this is pretty cool!
