What's the paper stock? Newspaper clipping? Measurements? Anything on the back?

Looks to be handcut. I know the image and will try and locate.

The image of Lajoie looks like from the Baseball Bats set, but I believe this might also possibly be from a set of reprints of old cards from the 1960's to 1970's issued by the Sport Hobbyist (Frank Nagy). It just has that multiple border look seen sometimes in that issue, and I don't know if the original Baseball Bats cards had that additional black border...but then again these were cut from candy boxes, so maybe this is just an extra generous cut. Here are 2 images from the web of the Baseball Bats issue. And here is an Orange Border Lajoie that utilizes the same image.

Fred, old buddy, what you have -- as Brian opined -- is a card from the E-Unc Baseball Bats set. It is cut more generously than most you see today, which were trimmed along the black border or inside it. This card, and many Baseball Bats, also exists with an orange border, with square corners unlike the rounded corners of the E-Unc Orange Border set. If you run across others like Lajoie, I am looking for Harry Niles to finish the set. Thanks,
