I know collectors have questions about purchasing Baseballs not being authenticated. So, anyone have experience sending BB to PSA? Have about 20 single signed HOF BB Thanks in advance. Joe

It can be costly and probably will take a long time before you get it back. Honestly, most collectors probably aren't going to care for balls signed by most HOFs. I would say any ball priced below $50 or maybe even $100 would not be worth it. For the big names and pre-war guys I would definitely do it though.

Thanks, didn’t know collectors were not interested in HOF signed baseballs.

You need to search around to see the selling prices of the balls you have to see if it makes monetary sense to send. Many of the HOFer that were alive during the 80s and 90s have truckloads available and so the cost of certing might not be justified. Higher end or rarer signatures many definitely be worth it. It all depends. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I agree with what the other fellas said. If these are Mel Ott or Walter Johnson signed balls, go for it. But if they’re Bob Feller and Tom Glavine, save your money.

Echo what Lordstan said. It's not about lack of interest, just that supply on a lot of recent HOFers far exceeds the demand and the cost of authentication doesn't really add value. You'd be lucky to get the value of the authentication in a lot of cases (Feller, Doerr, etc.)

Better off waiting for shows to be a reality again and getting them done onsite. If you're looking for quicker money consign them to an auction house. But they'll probably get grouped into lots and sold in bulk.
