Favorite Pre-war card for under 500$
So I'm more of a post war collector but recently I've been adding some pre war stuff here and there. Because of this I've wanted add some center piece type cards to my collection. Since I don't have the biggest budget I was looking at cards that would be in the 500$ range.
The cards I am currently looking at are the 1932 Sanella Babe Ruth or any of the E96 HOFers. What cards in this range are your favorites/ would you recommend! Thanks in advance!

Patrick, being as you are a fan of the Washington, DC, baseball team and live in a DC suburb, IMHO your only logical choice is a Walter Johnson card. WaJo's 1913 WG5 National Game & WG6 Tom Barker game cards (both cards have the same pose) are attractive, and nice-condition examples can be obtained for $300-500.
