PSA expanding
PSA has graded etc. a collection of rare books and paper for an upcoming Sotheby’s auction of non-baseball material. FYI

They’ll grade anything for a buck.

What a shock! Maybe they'll slab them, so they can never be read again.
Seriously, what's the point of this nonsense? Every time the book is read (or even touched/opened) it will change the condition. Why do people need the approval of some idiotic 3rd party to think something has value? I really hope the FBI brings them down. |

Can't wait for the book trimming scandal.

There has already been lots of book collecting scandals, so many that some people just collect forgeries. The article I read on this subject indicated that the seller was someone who had sold his baseball card collection thru Sotheby’s, all psa, and decided to do it with his books. To each his own, I am not at all interested.
