Tommy Lasorda's 83 year old brother killed in car
He made a left turn in front of an unmarked Boca Raton police SUV driven by 30-year-old Sgt. Doug Immler on Thursday night. The accident report says Immler had a green light.
Tommy is currently the oldest living Hall of Famer. I am afraid this very sad incident may be traumatic for 90 year old Dodger skipper. Just letting you fellas know, so maybe you can send him a prayer or thought.

My folks were down in Florida for years. These big left hand turns are deadly to older drivers. I've literally seen people make left turns into 4 lanes of traffic onto a major thoroughfare like highway A1A and just stop. Terrifying. At some point you need to leave the driving to someone else.
