Maybe I'm being stupid, but why cant I see some of my replies to messages or messages that I have sent?
My sent messages folder is always zero.

Try going to your user CP and then Edit Options. I believe there is a button to press there that saves your sent messages.

Yes, "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" was not checked. That should do it, I hope. Thanks.
