| 1954 wilson williams value

I will be trading for a friend's wilson franks ted williams card in poor condition and I'm having difficulty assigning a value. It's in a psa 1 holder due to uniform toning "as if the card had been stored in a basement for a long time". If not for that the card would be a vg. Are we talking about a 500 750 or 1000 card? Hard to tell w/o seeing, I know, but thanks for your thoughts in advance. I'll post a picture in the next few days.

VCP or PSA doesn't have a price listed for this card?

The last three PSA 1's went for $2,000, $1,299, and $875 (2014). Edited to add: VCP is an incredible resource and well worth the subscription price. Last edited by bobsbbcards; 12-01-2017 at 05:03 AM. |

| And it's slabbed ?

			.. are we to understand that it's authenticated by PSA as a "1" ? .. |

I was misled to believe it was a psa 1.

| And also ..it looks deliberately "antiqued"...but then again a lot of us on here are paranoid about too-good-to-be-true deals... .. |

| this guy's not out to scam me,

though goodness knows he's been the victim of scams (like most seasoned collectors). I agree it does have that 'beyond normal wear' appearance, though the picture has a lot of reflections off the plastic as it was taken in a sunny room. Do you think a black light would tell anything?

$450 seems a little high for one with that much wear....er, love. $300 perhaps?

Look real to me, or at least the wear appears genuine - I know some expressed concerned about that, but I wouldn't have any hesitation about buying this if offered to me.
