| Are these Babe Ruth's Authentic?

Here are a few babe Ruth's out in the world that are for sale. The first one the guy says his grandfather got personally at a game. Have you seen an example like it before? The others all happen to be signed with "Sincerely" and all look dang similar. Thoughts on the authenticity? Any help is appreciated! |

No speculation on authenticity but from my POV it looks like a different person signed each of those signatures.

I agree with the previous opinions that #1, #2 and #4 are bad. I'm not convinced that #3 is good. I do seem to see some signs of shakiness/slowness in it, that make me think it's bad, but I'm not really sure. Steve

#2 Are there any known where the R extends below the rest of *uth and don't connect? Not sure I've seen one. |

What is your problem? I'm trying to learn and don't hold myself out as an expert. That is why I said uneducated.

Very Nice! The one in my photos with the "R" like these is authenticated by GFA..... Thats a whole other discussion Im sure haha. BUT, is it possible GFA has authenticated real stuff? or are they all fakes? |

This one I found for a decent price- You can see the stopping points with the pen-loos like a nice flow through the signature. Id like your thoughts on this one too.

			There's a reason it's offered at a "decent" price.

All I can say with certainty is that #1 looks bad, David's two are good, and we need bigger scans of the last three. You can't make decisions on close Ruth's based on scans this small.

And by "close I mean the ones that are close to what I personally feel are real, as well as the styles I would never touch;e.g., the 'R' in #2, as well as the ones that I am not comfortable with but numerous examples exist that are validated by JSA and/or PSA. The key to examining further is large scans.
