There are 10 Joss portraits with Hindu backs graded between PSA and SGC. Not trying to disrupt your thread, just didn't want someone to see that and assume the card is rare.

Luke

I have been checking into it. In 2012 there was 1. Seems that some more have been discovered or a lot of cross grading on 2 or 3. Thanks for the heads up. Still a very tough card.

Luke FYI SGC has only graded 1.....mine. The 5 Hindu below that are the red backs. Seems like the red hindu is more common in Joss POR.....atleast as far as grading. THere has been only 1 Brown Hindu graded by SGC and it is a 30.

The SGC pop report is very clear.

Red Hindus are far more scarce than Brown Hindu. I know you're not trying to mislead people, but if someone took what you are saying at face value, they would be mislead.

Luke you marked the red hindus pop reports. The BROWN is directly above that one. I understand how scarce reds normally are, but not in the case of Joss POR. I have the ONLY SGC and it is a 30. Red POP 5, Brown POP 1 for SGC. I hope this helps.

The portrait is a 150-350 subject. It was not printed with a Red Hindu back.

I would think that but then SGC has typos in the pop report? I have never seen the POR in red back only pitching, but I assume the other line must be red. I will call SGC tomorrow just to confirm the correct number. Regardless it is still a tough card.

Yeah, a pop of 10 is still a tough card. I just didn't want anyone to think it was real scarce.

You can take a look at the checklists on t206resource.com if you are unsure which cards were issued with which backs.

Right. I did it was my bad trusting SGC's report to be accurate. I will call them tomorrow and get a real number. I forgot he was a 150 Subject. The reds are super tough in comparison. I have had quite a few Browns over the years and only 1 or 2 reds. In 2012 there was only 1 graded by SGC (my 30) and I think a PSA 4. Now a few more have popped up.

All the red Hindu are pitching.
Sgc has tons of errors in the pop report. I've pointed out cards that aren't even sets that they have on the pop report and they dont do anything about it. For example they have players noun the t205 set with a population. And not 1 or two players.

There aren't any errors in the Joss pop report that I posted. It doesn't say Red Hindu anywhere. It just says "portrait" and there are 5 of them listed. We know that the portrait can only have a Brown Hindu back, so that's the pop report for Joss portrait with Hindu back.

We also know that there are not any cards that exist with both a Brown and a Red Hindu back. It can only be one or the other, but never both.
