Pete I think your a bit high, I'd say closer to $100-150.
The season passes don't do that well unless they are pre-1920, or team specific and/or major year/event related. |

1947 is obviously the year that Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in the National League and the MLB. This is a National League pass...
IMHO, it has to be worth at least $500 to the right collector although admittedly passes are not my forte. I have however been a long-time collector of vintage baseball tickets. Last edited by Scott Garner; 08-11-2016 at 04:27 AM. |

In my humble opinion, yes it definitely does.

I am not a "pass or ticket" person either but agree the value will be based on the audience. My gut tells me 200-500 value but that is just a gut feel. It's a great piece.
If I were to sell it I would find a good auction house with a big audience and go from there. I only have 1 season pass or ticket, shown before (and I paid 4 figures for it, as a reference)....They are neat collectibles...

Very cool, Leon! Love that one - beautiful piece.
I appreciated the advice. I have one collector that I am reaching out to - but I get what you mean when you say value will vary widely by audience. Thanks again. |

Gorgeous piece. I agree with the earlier poster about 1947 NL having significance. Beautiful condition too, and the case is going to add value. Personally, I'd pay $100 for that case alone. Stick my business cards in it LOL

IMHO, because of the great condition, and the case, it would sell between $400 - $600 in an auction. I personally do not care if the year is 1945 or 1949 but, to some, I guess it may. It is a very nice piece considering to whom it belonged too and the great condition. Nice piece

If you had a ticket stub from Jackie's debut it would sell for 5 figures. People who have passes will try to equate the pass with that ticket. True the pass COULD BE used to get into that game and many other 1947 highlights. However ticket collectors will always pay the most for a single dated ticket to an event. I see many people trying to sell passes for these high prices but rarely do they sell for anywhere near what they ask. I think you could get maybe $1000 for this. But thats just a guess.

Nice pass if it were a specific team Pass IE Brooklyn Dodgers it would easily sell for $1000's but it just a national league pass 1947 is the main milestone event being J.Robinson Debut
it would look nice in a PSA Holder which would add to the value as it stands about $500 but you could put it up for a much higher buy it now or best offer on ebay and maybe find some one with deep pockets to snap it up I would be interested in possible purchase like every one else |
