Very strange. Of the 19 mantle '52 Topps listed on eBay right now, 4 of them belong to the same seller. He is selling a 2.5, a 5, a 6, and an 8(oc). Here is my concern, the guy has only 68 transactions over the past year and sells watches, has a 1986 canseco, a Rickey Henderson, and other items that don't match what I expect from a guy selling four 1952 mantles. Thoughts?

I don't know. Honestly I don't think I'd buy any Mantle from anyone on ebay graded or not. He did recently sell a Chamberlain rookie for over 7700 and a Ryan rookie though. If I had to guess I'd say they were ok but I'd stay away.

It's hard to say actually the reason why he has 4 or if they are real or not?
I just read the other day about someone who says they wish they had of collected a few or more 52 Mantles (as we all do!) so who's to say this guy didn't or didn't come into someone who had? Of course flags should be thrown up in these situations and the card(s) critically scrutinized by someone in the know before purchasing them, but to immediately write them off as forgeries or fakes is a bit premature imo.
