For those who haven't seen Eddie Frierson's "MATTY" show, here's your
chance. This Sunday, November 15th at 3:00 PM he will be having a free show in the Southern California area. It's been a number of years since I last saw this show and I am planning on attending this one. I definitely recommend it to all vintage baseball fans. Here's the details. Hope to see you there... http://www.matty.org/ |

Looks like California and New York this year. Hopefully they come to the deep South soon and the Fox theatre would be a great place to perform here in Atlanta.

Got to see this last night. It was without a doubt - terrific! Erik V thanks for sharing. Amazing stories of Matty's life and times that transported you back to the early 1900's. Eddie Frierson's performance was amazing. Some of the players talked about where John McGraw, Fred "bonehead" Merkle, Al Bridwell, Johnny Evers, Babe Ruth and many more. I dragged my two teenage sons who are more into video games than baseball and they even enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

AJ,
I know I texted you last night, but I'm making a public apology too. I feel terrible for leaving you high and dry yesterday. I completely forgot about the show and wanted so bad to go. Will have to make it up to you my friend. Not sure the next time Eddie will be doing another MATTY show, but if he's in any Net54 members' neighborhood, by all means take the time and see this show!! Erik no worries! I knew you were a maybe. My two boys kept me company and it ended up being a great father/sons outing.
