I usually go with the Ultra Pro Platinum binder pages to store my raw cards in. But the pages often have smudge marks on them or some other tiny flaws that don't leave the pages crystal clear at times. Anyone have any other suggestions for high-quality viewing of cards in binder pages while still giving archival storage of old cards (no pvc etc)?
thanks! Rob ![]() p.s. I posted this in the watercooler section yesterday and it got no love and I'm impatient haha |

These Vario products are the Cadillac of binders/pages. Pretty pricey, but they take viewing pleasure to a whole new level, IMO.

Thanks for the reply Conor. Do they have 15 pocket pages? I saw their 8 pocket pages for business cards, and other sizes for film and postcards, but I didn't see any 9 or 15 pocket binder pages for the Vario system. Thanks!

Nope, as far as I know there's no 9 pocket or 15 pocket. They're mostly geared towards stamps. Phone cards are/were big in europe so they make 8 pocket pages. I use a lot of vario and lighthouse for the stamp collection.
Bigger stuff gets mounted to nice paper with acid free photo corners and put into a single pocket Ultra Pro. Or if it's inexpensive, some other page protector. Steve B |

thanks for the replies - sounds like Ultra Pro Platinum is what I'll have to live with until (for sports/tobacco cards) something better comes along

I found this a few weeks ago but haven't bought one yet. I think it's pretty cool being the only binder designed to hold toploaders. I think the design could be better, cosmetically, but the function of having a partial seam, at the top of each holder, so that the toploaders don't fall out when the binder is turned upside down is pretty cool. There is a video review on YouTube that shows how it works. Here are some photos:
